Saturn Wise-Owl Chapter five

Koi and Skye got married early February with the exciting news that Koi was also expecting their first child, Mum and them quickly forgot all about their arguments and are ow friends again. It was the biggest Wise-Owl celebration since Venus' eighteenth birthday, everyone from the family seemed to turn up. Even Aqua stayed for a while.

Mum looked youthful and pretty as always, no one would guess she was forty-two! She still tried to tell people she was in her late twenties, she still wore huge high heels and went clubbing at least once a month. But, she is always there for her children of course. Seeing Skye getting married brought a flood of tears and huge smiles.

Dad on the other hand stood tall and smiled with great pride as his son, is first born married the love of his life. He too still looked young apart from the two wrinkles on his forehead that threaten to show every time there is a stressful situation.

"Hey Dad, so what do you think? Your boy is all grown up and married"

"Well I think he is going to have a very happy life with Koi"

That is all he said before going to give Mum a tissue, I took a slice of cake and went to sit down.

"Look at them two"

Venus rolled her eyes as Skye lifted his bride up in to the air, Koi screamed and told him he was crazy. I looked at Venus, my half sister who is smart, independent and manages to look after a toddler, a fiance with writer's block and a job as a midwife with out one complaint.

"Well you'll be like that on your wedding, won't you Venus"

"No way, I'm having a simple ceremony at the registry office, I leave the big white wedding to you and Jupiter. Anyway you graduate soon, my little sisters all grown up"

I gave a weak smile, to be honest I was getting scared. Graduation as looming over me and even though I was excited before now I'm nervous for the future.

But, still you can't stop time and in a flash Cookie, Bluebell, Jupiter and I were graduating. I had just turned eighteens and now I was classed as an adult. I couldn't believe it, now I could drive, I could vote and do everything else that came with being an adult.

A Year Later... 

"I am so sorry babe I didn't know it was sold out"

My nineteenth birthday, the only good thing about it was that Bluebell was still my boyfriend after all this time. Apart from that today wasn't that good. Bluebell still has his moustache and says it helped him get his job at the newspapers, I can't even get a job! My job hunts are depressing, I keep getting turned down so I've gone on strike and will not go job searching until next month.

"It's fine, don't worry about it, lets just go back home and watch a DVD"

We began crossing the road,

"I really wanted to take your mind off all the drama that has been happening"

Oh the drama, it's getting to the point I want my life to be boring! It started off with Neptune's fifteenth birthday and went down hill from there, Venus got married at City Hall, then broke up with her husband and then they got back together but it gets worse...

Koi gave birth to a little boy called Basa, she is now expecting another baby. Her and Mum are at war with each other again, Skye became a Policeman and then had the embarrassment of seeing his own Mother fighting in the street when she was drunk after a night out. Mum has apologised but things are still rocky between them three.

Jupiter moved in with Cookie, found him cheating, broke up with him and then moved back home. She then found out she was pregnant! She went to have an abortion but found out she was too far along to have one, Mum isn't very happy with her at the moment. 

"Saturn will you marry me?"

I looked down, being sent back to the present. I looked around and saw that I was now home, then I looked down and saw Bluebell with a ring and down on one knee. I didn't know what to do, he was my first and only boyfriend so how do I know he is The One? His face became sad.

I smiled at him and he smiled back,

"Listen Bluebell, I think it's too soon to get married. So how about I put this ring on my finger as a promise we will, one day, get married but not yet"

"I'm fine with that"

He slid the ring on my finger.

I looked at the ring and suddenly my birthday had turned out to be amazing!

"Oh and one more thing, Saturn"

I looked at him, what else is there to say?

"I well...I brought a house with the money Dad sent me and Mum helped out as well so...Do you want to move in with me?"

I didn't need to think about that, I screamed 'Yes' and leaped into his arms.

"I can't believe your leaving me!"

It was the day of the big move and Jupiter was doing her usual jokes, see I know she is saying that in a joking way but part of me is crushed to think I maybe hurting my twin.

"Jupiter, you left me first remember?"

"Oh I remember, that Cookie Chip gave me a permeate reminder"

The car horned beeped and I knew it meant it was time to leave, my only good bye would be to my twin, Mum, Dad and Neptune were all out, which made things harder.

"Hold on let me get dressed I want to see you leave"

Jupiter ran to get dressed and out of her nightwear.

Jupiter walked up to Bluebell hands on hips.

"So you think you can take my twin without a fight do you?"

Bluebell felt bad I knew about separating us,

"Jupiter were not that far you can visit and stay over and-"

She pulled him into a hug.

"You take good care of my sister and remember we are still best friends"

"I will and your the greatest friend I could ever have"

I felt my self filling up with tears as my fiance and my twin shared this moment of love, friendship, acceptance and family.

"Hey Saturn don't cry"

My twin hugged me but I felt the tears stream down my face and on to her T-shirt.

"Saturn I'm meant to me the hormonal one, come on I'll be over all the time and like Bluebell said your only a half an hour's drive away"

I still couldn't help but cry some more, then my twin started crying and then Bluebell joined the hug and also started crying. My life began now but it was going to be without my twin.
